Arthur's Third Birthday Interview

1. Summer: What is your favorite food?
   Arthur: Quesadillas. Do we have quesadillas at our house [now]?
2. S: What is your favorite animal?
   A: Bears.
3. S: What is your favorite movie?
   A: Frozen.
4. S: What is your favorite thing to do at school?
   A: See Miss Ashley.
5. S:What makes you the happiest?
   A: My kilt.
6. S: What makes you sad?
   A: Bebe pulling my hair.
7. S: What makes you scared?
   A: Monsters. I like "Monster Mash," though.  "Monster Mash" is a funny song.  The monsters in "Monster Mash" are good monsters.  If you want, we could listen to "Monster Mash" now. It's on the computer.
8. S: What is one new thing you learned to do this year?
   A: Hang upside down [he was hanging upside off my bed when he said this].
9. S: What is one new thing you want to learn next year
   A: Hang upside down.
   S: But you can already hang upside down.
   A: Yes, but I could learn to do it better.
10. S: What would you like to be when you grow up?
    A: A vet, a doctor, a dog.  A daddy.  A dancer who is a boy.  An astronaut and a teacher and a dog.
11. S: What is your favorite holiday?
    A: Summer.  Actually, it's a season.
12. S: What is your favorite color?
    A: Blue.
13. S: What is your favorite song?
    A: "Let It Go" and "For the First Time in Forever" [From Frozen]
14. S: What is your favorite toy?
    A: My toys I already have on the carpet [meaning, the new birthday toys he just received]. [pause] And my kids, I love them the thick way. [His "kids" are Boo and Foxy, his two children.]
15. S: What is your favorite book?
    A: Frozen. Also The Dinosaurs of Waterhouse Hawkins.  The Boss Tweed part.
16. S: Who is your favorite character?
    A: Anna.
17. S: What is your favorite thing to do?
    A: Jump.
18. S: What do you like learning about?
    A: Frozen. [Of course.]
19. S: Where is your favorite place to go?
    A: LEGOLAND.
20. S: Can you name some of your friends?
    A: Ivy.
21. S: What is your birthday wish?
    A: That you would come to my birthday party.
