Today was the first day of our annual advent calendar. Just like last year, I assigned a different Christmas activity to each day. Here's this year's list:
1. Write a letter to Santa Claus
2. Buy a new Christmas book
3. Draw a Christmas picture
4. Bake Christmas cookies
5. Make a snow globe
6. Get a Christmas tree
7. Buy a new Christmas ornament
8. Have breakfast with Santa
9. Host a Christmas party
10. Make a gingerbread house
11. Drink hot chocolate
12. Watch a Christmas movie
13. Go on a holiday nature walk
14. Make ornaments
15. Make Christmas cards
16. Leave a Christmas treat out for squirrels and birds
17. Donate a toy
18. Buy a present for Arthur
19. Build a Christmas village
20. Take a drive to see Christmas lights
21. Preschool Christmas party
22. Go to a Christmas concert
23. Watch the Christmas boat parade
24. Leave cookies and milk out for Santa
I'm particularly excited about this month because Mina, James, Rosemary, and Louis will be visiting December 7-15 and joining us for that week's activities.
