Our friend Aubrey is a huge proponent of the mathematical text Probability Theory: The Logic of Science, by E. T. Jaynes and he's been considering publishing a revised edition (the original was posthumously published and poorly edited).
He asked Melissa, Dev, Travis, Michael, Laura, Sam, Lilli, Crawford, and me to be a sort of pilot group for this project. Every week we read a chapter, watch Aubrey's video lecture, then meet via video chat on Wednesday nights to discuss the section. It has been really fun to do math again for the first time since college - but more importantly, it's been wonderful to have a weekly video conversation with some of my best friends.
