Passover and Easter

(Why is this post about Easter going up before Easter Sunday is even over? Dev is going out of town tomorrow so we celebrated Easter one day early, on Saturday, this year.)

We celebrated Passover with the Oppenheims like we do every year - only this time there were five kids at the seder. (And Jonas, Lucas's older brother, just had a baby, too, so next year we'll have six.)

Then the kids had an Easter party and egg hunt at school.

Today we had our annual Easter egg hunt - only this year we held the party in our neighborhood park because our backyard is under renovation.

At 14 months, Cole was our youngest egg hunt participant.
Next year, William.

Then our kids found their baskets where the Easter bunny had hidden them.

And of course we dyed eggs.

Beatrice wrote "I Love You" without any help.
We also tried - and failed - to get a good photo of all three kids together in their Easter clothes.  But we'll apply a little Photoshop and see if we can get a composite where everyone is looking forward and smiling at the same time.

And now, already, it's time to take down all the Easter decorations and prepare for the next big thing - the kids' birthdays!

Happy Easter, everyone!
