We did tons of crafts and activities with the kids, everything from decorating gingerbread haunted houses to making haunted forts.

The kids went to tons of parties all over the city, including a big party at my friend Wendy's house and school parties, parades, and fundraisers.

I was also so proud of Beatrice and Arthur for going on the Haunted Train Ride at Griffith Park. It was really scary! (for little kids, anyway) but they were incredibly brave and loved it.

In addition to all the kids' activities, I did a ton of adult Halloween activities, including haunted houses and tours, ghost-themed plays, horror movie screenings, and even a private ghost tour, when my friend Jillian and I rented a party bus and hired Richard Carradine, head of GHOULA, to give 30 of us a private haunted tour of Los Angeles. And on Halloween at midnight, I went with my friends Zoe, Jascha, Lilli, Loren, and Aaron to a screening of The Rocky Horror Show (I went as Janet).

The most fun I had all month, though, was carving pumpkins and then trick or treating with Julie and the kids.

Happy Halloween! I can't wait for next year . . .
These pictures from Halloween 2015 are truly very sweet. I like these crafts and activities that you did with the kids. Your Haunted Train Ride at Griffith Park also seems very thrilling. We also had wonderful time on Halloween day. You know we attended the most popular event at event venue Chicago for first time.
