Happy Autumn!

As always, this was a very busy fall. Fall is my favorite season and Halloween my (second?) favorite holiday, so I tend to overbook October a bit.

We started the month off with a trip to the Pasadena Pumpkin Festival with Lucas and Veronika. Then Lilli visited and we went to the Underwood Family Farm in Moorpark for more pumpkin action.

This was a very tall haystack she climbed all by herself.

This season Beatrice wore her lion tamer costume to a party at the Americana, to the MOMS Club Halloween party, and to our own pumpkin carving party.

Lilli's pumpkin crab masterpiece.

Our youngest party guest, Asher, dressed as a penguin.

The carving party also featured pumpkin painting and sticker applications for those too young to use knives.

Kettle corn is now Beatrice's favorite food.

The dogs were both dressed as lions.

Then we were off to the Bay Area for the weekend of Halloween where Beatrice tried her hand at trick or treating with her grandparents,

and then Dev, Gillian, and I participated in this incredible late night Halloween scavenger hunt for adults in San Francisco.

Beatrice also had her first Starbucks hot chocolate.

Tons more great photos here on Facebook or here on Flickr.
