Beatrice and Arthur have recorded several new podcasts but I'm way behind on editing and posting them. But here's Episodes Three and Four.
(Once again, I apologize for the editing - one day I'll take the time to learn how to use Audacity properly.)

Girl's Weekend VI
For the sixth year in a row, Amy Robb, Amy Must, Stephanie Spehar, Summer St. Pierre, and I went on a spring trip together. Usually for these trips Stephanie flies out from Wisconsin and then we all go somewhere together on the west coast, but this year we decided to visit her instead, spending five days in Madison and then Milwaukee.
We packed a lot into those five days, including visiting Frank Lloyd's house Taliesin, touring the UW Madison campus (during graduation), going to a farmer's market and a roadside farm, and shopping in Milwaukee, but mainly eating a truly incredible quantity of cheese. And it was beautiful, a perfect Midwest spring.
Amy's dramatically lit photo makes me look very regal, even if I'm just sending a text from the bathroom of the capitol building. |

This was a special year, too, since both Amy M. and Stephanie are expecting their first babies this summer - only two weeks apart.
Congratulations, Paul and Maureen!
Paul and Maureen got married last month in a beautiful ceremony in Kyle near Austin, Texas.
We drove out to join them for the ceremony and spend some time with the family in Austin.

The Thursday before the ceremony we celebrated Uncle Roger's 70th birthday (as well as Dev's 36th).

The day of the wedding Beatrice and Rosemary went to the salon to get their hair done.
I don't want to post too many of Paul and Maureen's professional wedding photos in case they want to do so themselves, but I have to share a few highlights.
Beatrice and Arthur got to be "flower children" in the ceremony, and Dev officiated. (We gave William a basket of flower petals, too, but he just immediately dumped all of them over his head.) Mina and James did a beautiful duet and Julie gave a winning toast.

The following day Maureen and Paul hosted a post-wedding brunch.

In between all the wedding events, we also found time to just hang out with everyone.

And then, back home! Congratulations, Maureen and Paul, on a truly excellent wedding.
